How to get there
Parrot Rock is close to most of the hotels in Mirissa. It is situated at the Eastern point of the main beach. You can get there through any of the accessing points to the beach.

What time to go
It is generally best to visit Parrot Rock in the morning since there will be fewer people. This way you will have the rock all to yourself to enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding ocean. What do you need
The climb to parrot rock is quite short. So you won’t need too many things. Just a water bottle, sunglasses, and sunscreen should do. If you are interested in taking pictures of the surrounding, also take a camera and a waterproof bag with you. This is because you sometimes need to walk through the water when the tide is high to get to the rock.
