Harbour Road
As the premier whale-watching spot from which most tour boats set sail every morning between 6 am and 7 am, Harbour Road is a must-visit area in Mirissa. Whale-watching tours in Mirissa can last up to 4 or 5 hours and are available through local tour operators and the Sri Lanka Navy. Blue whales and sperm whales are the most frequently sighted whale varieties while spinner dolphins are also known to make an appearance.
