Like a once buried treasure in the islands of the Philippines, Boracay has unearthed itself to life and unravelled its mysteries, attracting planeloads of visitors year after year. Boasting the award of ‘the trophy beach of the Philippines’ the Boracay stands proud with its sands, shores and endless happy crowds. Although it makes up only a tiny speck of the north western tip of the island which occupies a total length of 9kms, Boracay has become a tiny city in itself that is adorned by hundreds of glittering ornaments dangling from the many souvenir shops that have made their homes here. Boracay is vibrant and makes one of the liveliest areas in the whole of Philippines. Its restaurants, shops and hotels are packed with people the year round and offer the best of everything you can ever dream of. Enjoy the buzz of happy shoppers and relish in the warmth of the epitome of holiday making here in Philippines.
In all of Boracay the White Beach is almost always the predominant and sometimes the only place that tourists visit in the area. It is here where all the action happens making it the most urbanized area of the region. A typical day in Boracay is loaded with fruit shakes, tropical drinks, plenty of tannings, volleyball, water sports and anything else to do with water. Year after year real estate occupies more and more of the bare land creating shops and hotels to cater more and more to the ardent tourist. Although it is the White Beach that has put this location on the map try venturing a little further into the north to the Puka Beach to enjoy a little peace and quiet. Boracay also has within its boundaries the Bulabog Beach which is wilder and windier making an ideal spot for windsurfing.
