How to Get There
It is possible to travel to Passikuda by both air and road. Thus, it is possible for travellers to arrive at the Batticaloa airport from Colombo by taking a domestic flight. However, keep in mind that this can be an expensive mode of transport. Thus, most opt to travel either by train, bus or private vehicle. While it takes approximately 8 to 9 hours to travel to Batticaloa by road, the journey can be picturesque.
