Travel 25 KMs from Quy Nhon and find a paradisical piece of nature known as Ky Co Beach. The two shades of water, blue and green, contrast beautifully against the white sand of the shore.
An island-like beach
Surrounded by mountains on three sides and bordered by the sea on one side, Ky Co Beach has the look of an island. The beach is shaped like a crescent. The rocks create pools during high tide, and the low tide reveals the hidden caves.
Things to do
To enjoy the beautiful views of the beach, ride a bike from atop a mountain. You can swim in the pools created by rocks. Canoeing or jet-skiing are two other things you can do here. However, if you are not in for an action-packed day, you can just relax on the beach.
You have to pay an entrance fee before you can get to the beach. The fee is about 60,000 VND per head. The entrance fee is subject to change as it is calculated according to the starting point of your journey at Ky Ko Beach.
Accommodation around the area
The accommodation options you get here are many and varied. If you fancy staying at one of the Vietnam beach resorts, you have options like Avani Quy Nhon Resort. Keep in mind that the prices tend to go up during the dry season, but most hotels offer seasonal hotel packages.
Best time to visit
April to September is the best time to visit the beach. This is the dry season, ideal for sightseeing and water sports.
