Wat Plai Laem
Thailand is home to a fair share of jaw-dropping temples. Amongst them, the Wat Plai Laem in Koh Samui boasts several eye-grabbing features compelling you to visit this serene religious complex. The striking white 18-arm statue of Guanyin built in the centre of the temple ground is the cynosure of all eyes. The two long halls on either side of the statue feature colourful murals and frescoes depicting Buddhist mythological stories.
Na Muang Waterfalls
Spilling down from the highest points of the island, the Na Muang Waterfalls features an awe-inspiring sight to behold. It’s incredibly spectacular with water plummeting down into a large pool at the foot of the waterfall. What makes this waterfall more picturesque is undoubtedly its lush jungle surroundings. In between the two waterfalls lies the Na Muang Safari Park which features monkey shows and elephant rides!
Chaweng Beach
Being the largest of Koh Samui’s beaches, the Chaweng Beach is a gorgeous strip of beach to spend your vacation. The central part of the beach attracts “up for party” young travellers which feature pumping music, scrumptious food and a range of cocktails.

Secret Buddha Garden
Also known as ‘magic garden’ this enchanting attraction is located in the hills of Samui’s jungles. For all curious holidaymakers who wish to uncover Thailand’s culture on an off beaten track may opt to this place. If you’re staying at one of the many Koh Samui resorts the like of Sunset Coast Samui Resort & Villas, the beach is 24 minutes away.
