There are over 20 beaches everywhere on this island, most of them are undisturbed by visitors and located off the beaten path. So, if you’re looking for a quiet place to unwind and relax, here are some of the secluded beaches you could check out in Koh Phangan.
Thong Sala Beach
This scenic mudflat beach located just 30 minutes away from resorts in the area such as Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas often referred to as Ao Bang Charu is one of the best places to watch the sunset. During the low tide months, you can take a serene stroll along the shallow waters, all the way to the reef. You’ll find small pools of water where you can go for a dip. However, it’s better to avoid Thong Sala during high tide months from December to April.
Haad Rin Beach
Haad Rin is safely the most famous beach on the island. If you come during full moon days, you can witness the vibrant monthly full moon parties that take place here. There are many beach bars located along the coast of Haad Rin as well as some of the best beach resorts in Koh Phangan. If you visit here, you can take a swim or relax on the beautiful pure white sands.

Haad Salad
If you’re a fan of snorkelling, Haad Salad is the place to be. The coral reefs just off the shore are teeming with marine life. Enjoy a day of underwater exploration followed by a laid-back evening on the pristine beach.

Bottle Beach
