Although Thai seafood restaurants are the most common in the city, one can also find Italian, French, Japanese and even Greek restaurants. There are also a few lively bars with pool tables scattered around the city which one can visit and to have a drink and wind down. Overall Thong Sala is a far cry from the other areas of Ko Pha Ngan, and far more suitable for the weary traveller or tourist looking for relaxation.
